A Meissen large allegorical figure of 'Summer', circa 1750

Modelled by J.F. Eberlein, as a classical figure of a woman wearing a wreath of wheat sheaves, wearing a lavender-lined cloak decorated with indianische Blumen and holding a sickle, a putto to her left carrying a wheatsheaf, square base, 27.6cm high (some restoration)

There are a few small chips to the tips of the wheatsheaves of her wreath.
Her right hand (and sickle) are restored (the sickle is broken in the middle and held by glue); the right hand is restored at the wrist and there is spray residue on her right arm and right side of her body.
Her left little finger is restored and there is spray residue to the left hand.
There is some (old discoloured and flaking) overpainting to two of the folds of her cloak at her waist (probably over a small chip on each).
There are a few chip to the tips of the wheat sheaf.
There are some traces of old overpainting and spray to the base, under her robes behind her right foot (apparently to conceal a firing crack).
Otherwise in good condition.
