This is one of the few movie posters designed by renowned artist James Boswell. Similar artwork of this design resides in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Expertly linen-backed. Before restoration, there were two small tears in the bottom edge.

In the decades since its release, the reputation of It Always Rains on Sunday has grown from that of a neatly engrossing drama to a film often cited as one of the most overlooked achievements of late-1940s British cinema.
