This is a fabulous example of a pre-war animation poster. Popeye was at the peak of his popularity at this time, and we've only seen this poster once before. Animated and comedy short subject posters are scarce as many exhibitors did not see any reason to buy a poster to advertise anything but their feature films. Few were distributed.

Before linen backing, there was light fold wear with tiny cross-fold separations and a tear in the title. It now displays beautifully.

Classic animation; this is a delightful 1937 entry into the treasured Popeye series. This heartwarming short film showcases the spinach-fueled sailor's softer side as he encounters the trials and tribulations of babysitting.
