This is a very scarce format for this classic film.

This professionally restored poster has sporadic airbrushing to the border and the title. There are also some small spots of paper loss near the title and in the crossfold, which have been repaired.

Intent on capitalizing on the King Kong craze, producers Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack delivered a special effects bonanza (with fantastic effects by original stop-motion animator Willis O'Brien and his young assistant, Ray Harryhausen) in their follow-up film Mighty Joe Young.
