This is perhaps the only copy of this very important poster in existence. Purchased almost thirty years ago in auction, we are pleased to bring this magnificent piece to auction after many years.

On European linen, the poster shows almost no wear.

Pandora's Box is a 1929 gem directed by the illustrious G.W. Pabst. This film charts a mesmerizing tale chronicling the rise and fall of the captivating Lulu, played by the iconic Louise Brooks, whose performance etches in history a masterclass of expressionist acting. Her history-making performance solidified her as a screen legend and the quintessential flapper of the Roaring Twenties.
