A Greek gold ring depicting a flying bird with spread wings on a round bezel. The wings are engraved in two different ways, one style demonstrates similarities to the body while the other is composed of vertical and undulating lines. The band is composed of a round, flat-section hoop. For similar see: El Legado de Hefesto n .191. This piece has undergone X-ray fluorescence analysis to confirm the metallurgical content suggesting its ancient origin and lack of modern trace elements.
