Ca. 400 - 300 BC.
A terracotta footed krater. This was a vessel traditionally employed for mixing wine and water in ancient Greece. Characterized by a bulbous body resting on a flaring foot, the krater exhibits an everted rim. Two handles, symmetrically positioned on opposite sides, seamlessly connecting the shoulder to the rim. The surface is decorated with bichrome glazes, featuring abstract bands around the upper body and plain bands encircling the foot.
