A Sasanian bronze bowl deep form with flat and vertical rim decorated with moulded lines on the external surface from the bottom to the top, under the rim a large stripe similar to the production of red pottery from Arezzo and inspired by the Megarian bowls.

Provenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1990s.
