Prized Mahmoud Farshchian Work, made by MirMahmoud Alinasab "Morning Blossom" , Fine Silk and Wool 44"x63"

Mahmoud Farshchian is a world-renowned Iranian painter and educator who played an instrumental role in acquainting the world with Iranian art. A master of Persian miniature painting whose career spans over six decades, his pieces have been part of the private collections of Queen Elizabeth II, Japan’s Prince Akihito and Michael Jackson.
Interested in art from an early age, Farshchian got his diploma from Isfahan's High School for the Fine Arts before going to Europe to study works by the western masters of painting.
Farshchian fuses traditional Persian elements with modern influences in a style he calls “Surnaturalism.” His works convey life’s sensory qualities as a pathway to its spiritual and emotional realms.
Farshchian's masterpieces are highly sought after by art connoisseurs and collectors. His works have appeared at Sotheby’s, among other auction venues, and routinely fetch tens of thousands of dollars.

Mahmoud Alinasab
Mir Mahmoud Alinasab is a world famous master of designing and weaving Persian carpets.
Alinasab took the carpet concept from the floor to walls with his sophisticated tableaus, sewing a dynamic new path in the art of carpeting.
His style of surrealism conveys the dimensions of time, space and rhythm through the skillful use of light illustrations and hues of color.
Fascinated by the works of Persian art icon Mahmoud Farshchian, he began weaving Farschian’s pictures into his own carpets, later doing the same with Salvador Dali and other surrealist painters.
