Description
Two Needlework Samplers, Nineteenth Century. The first worked with ten rows of the alphabet and one row of numbers, a row with a strawberry vine and two rows of flowering plants; housed in a bird's-eye maple frame; the second stitched with a verse and signed "Sarah Diggie Aged 9 Years 1844." First: Frame: H: 17.625 in., W: 14.5 in., D: 0.5 in. Second: Frame: H: 10.5 in., W: 18 in., D: 0.75 in.
