Extremely rare black introductory picture box with silver printing, end marked "Shakespeare-Worden Bucktail Spinner No. R.W.2. 1-12 Doz.", housing a "Pat. Appl'd For" marked lure, coming complete with its important picture catalog, even rarer than the intro box with only a scant few examples known. This highly desirable box has common wear and light soiling, with the lure illustration mostly visible, the text legible, and including both 1901 patent dates on the top. Having a single rear "Mickey Mouse" spinner and full, original bucktail treble hook, the aluminum bait grades shiny Ex-/Ex, most likely unfished. A nearly impossible early Shakespeare combination to find.
