George Lane (British), two illustrations depicting pre-War motoring scenes, each monochrome on artist's board and signed 'George Lane', comprising 'Stutz Black Hawk Land Speed Record 1928', gouache, charcoal and wash heightened with white, depicting Frank Lockhart in the Stutz prior to his tragic demise at the Land Speed Record attempt at Daytona Beach on 25th April 1928, 26 x 45cm; and 'Shuttleworth Leads Bira', ink and wash heightened with white, depicting Richard Shuttleworth in the Alfa Romeo Type B leading Prince Bira in the ERA B-Type at the 1935 Donington Grand Prix, 21 x 35cm, with publishers stamp and annotations to reverse; each mounted, framed and glazed.
