A prison official's sword, maker Eickhorn, Solingen, model number 1728 Beautiful nickeled blade with maker's logo on the ricasso. The eagle's head hilt with décor in relief and very beautifully preserved gilding, a national eagle on both crossguard languets. Black plastic grip with wire wrap. Black lacquered steel scabbard. Length 97 cm. Extremely rare and in a very fine state of preservation.Condition: I - II
