A German Gothic casket made of embossed leather in the style of the 12th century, circa 1900Quadratische, vollflächig mit fein geprägtem und vergoldetem Leder bezogene sowie bronzebeschlagene Schatulle aus Holz. Der scharniergelagerte Deckel samt dem Schloss lose. Allseitig mit vielfigurigen, detaillierten Belagerungsszenen verziert, entlang der Deckelkante ein Zierband aus Wappenschildern. Kleine Fehlstellen, die Vergoldung berieben. Maße 14 x 25 x 23 cm.Condition: II - III
