Diogenes Casting away his Bowl.
Etching and drypoint, circa 1652. 453x274 mm; 18x11 inches, narrow margins. Second state (of 2), with the inscription lower left corrected but still with some of the letters showing drypoint traces of the previous lettering. A very good impression with strong contrasts and little to no sign of wear.
With--Piping Satyr, etching and drypoint, circa 1660-61. 93x206 mm; 3¾x8¼ inches, wide margins. Bartsch 5 and 14; Wallace 103 and 95.
