Item Details
Description
Original builders half hull model for the Boston Ferry Boat General Sumner. Launched in 1900, this East Boston ferry ran between East Boston and Rowes Wharf. Built by Bethlehem steel for the City of Boston in 1931 at the Fore River Shipbuilding Yard in Quincy. The model has its original finish, great condition. Laminated in many lifts.
