Description
Man's printed wool housecoat in paisley motif w/ narrow shawl collar, single diagonal slash pocket at left CH, free front & long sleeve w/ turnback cuff, originally 1860s relined & re-modeled into smoking robe in early 20th C, SH-SH 18”, CH up to 36”, L 37”, (few 0.25”-0.5” wear spots lower CB towards hem, few other >0.25” wear spots, wear & few holes up to 0.25” at left cuff, minor fading & few tiny holes in lining) excellent. Provenance: From the Estate of Lydia Gordon.
