A group of six photographs of the Santa Fe Railway tugboat: A.G. Wells, now mounted and framed, overall 33.25"h x 26.25"w. Provenance: Ken Brown, Frank's Fisherman, San Francisco. Note: The Santa Fe Railway tugboat, named the "A.G. Wells," was built in 1919 and purchased by the railway in 1925. The photographs depict the salvage operation that was used to connect freight from Oakland to San Francisco. The tug was taken over by the U.S. government in 1943.
