Aero.U.S. Navy G.C.T.", serial #2621743, together with a Hamilton walnut deck watch box with shock mount.

CASE: Numerous dings and scratches, primarily on the case back; Losses to plating. DIAL: Very good. HANDS: Minor dirt and oxide; Paint thin at end of hour. MOVEMENT PLATES: Very fine scratches on plate; Scratch and a few pin pricks at case screw near balance; Scratches and pin pricks at bridge screws; Gouge at barrel bridge screw; Click and winding wheels with minor oxide; Regulator assembly with specks of oxide; One barrel bridge screw head with marring. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks). Box lacking finish; Dings, minor scratches, and fading; Shock mount foam deteriorated; Lower mount now with rubber washers; Felt lining replaced. A total of 300 of these Grade 992 Elinvar Aircraft Navigational Watches were made, and supplied to the U.S. Navy Bureau of Aeronautics during the years 1937 and 1938, circa 1938
