Fine poster, 19 x 26.5 in. (sight), titled ‘$1.00 in War Stamps from every American will build the mystery ship…Shangri-La’, and further encourages the reader to ‘Bomb Tokyo with your Extra Change’. Printed in 1943 by the Government Printing Office. The USS SHANGRI-LA was commissioned in 1944 and participated in several Pacific Theatre campaigns, earning two battle stars along the way. Prominent central fold which may exhibit splitting if examined out of the frame. Framed in acetate and set into a black frame. Not examined out of the frame.
