A8, B-2Q6 (minus blank 2Q6); or, 237 numbered leaves (some misnumbering.) Bound in early pig over beveled wooden boards, stamped in blind with small circular flowers, remnants of earlier vellum manuscript visible near gutters (used by binder as waste), with clasps and catches intact. ********* The second part of this work, in an early binding. St. Albertus Magnus was the most prolific writer of the 13th century, and he established the study of nature as a legitimate science in the Christian tradition.
Condition
Binding and contents with pin-hole worming throughout (mostly to front section), some water-staining throughout (mostly faded.) Old faded ink-stamp to title. As-is.
