Finely bound by Hatchard's in 1.2 morocco over cloth, t.e.g., circa 1900.Includes (1) Poetical and Dramatic Works, 3 vols., 1844; (2) The Friend, 3 vols., 1844; (3) Aids to Reflection, 2 vols., 1843; (4) Essays on his Own Times, 3 vols., 1850; (5) On the Constitution of the Church and State [and] Lay Sermons, 1850; (6) Specimens of the Table Talk, 2 vols., 1835. First edition of the two-volume Table Talk, various editions of the other Pickering volumes. Although it does not comprise all the works of Coleridge, this is an attractive assembly of various collected works by their original publishers.
Condition
An excellent set of books, all endcaps intact and only very slight wear to some edges. Contents also clean, in keeping with the condition of the bindings. Sold as bindings, as-is.
