A first edition, first printing of The Day They Marched (Chicago, 1963), a book mainly of photographs of Civil Rights marches of that era, which also includes one of the earliest printings in book form of Dr. King's famous "I Have a Dream" speech. The catalog sheet from Bauman Rare Books, which accompanies the lot, describes it as "Interior pristine; mere trace of foxing, faintest rubbing to bright wrappers. A handsome about-fine copy."
