In the same rare style as the kudu figurine of the Mani-Yanda cult collected by Jozef De Loose in the 1950s in the village of Musa illustrated in "Ubangi" page 90
The Zande live in the north of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Characteristics:
TYPE OF OBJECT: Statue, figure
ETHNICAL GROUP: Zande Azande, or neighboring tribe
ORIGINE: Democratic Republic of Congo.
DRC (ex Belgian Congo, ex Zaïre).
MATÉRIAL: Wood
DIMENSIONS: Abou 6 1/4 inches high (16 cm)
7 3/4" with the base (20 cm)
CONDITION: Medium
