Very rare Shashka, Russian Empire, Caucasus, circa 1900, Blade "GURDA" 18th century, silver and niello. The straight steel blade has three fullers on each side. Both sides of the blade are marked "sickles". Brown horn handle. The parts of the scabbard are made of silver and decorated with classical Caucasian ornaments made with the technique of niello. On the top of the scabbard there is an inscription in Arabic with the name of the master jeweler. The wooden scabbard is covered with the original black leather. A wonderful item for the antique sword collector.
