A collection of pottery tiles comprising a Minton & Co Encaustic tile, in brown, buff and white, impressed marks 'Minton & Co Patent Stoke upon Trent', 15cm square, a Minton's China Aesop's Fables tile, c.1872, 'The Goat, Calf & Sheep' by John Moyr Smith, 15.5cm square; two further tiles, possibly designed by Lewis Foreman Day (1845-1910), 15cm and 16cm square; an earthenware octagonal bowl, painted with prunus, incised to the underside 'CH', 21cm diameter; and a CH Brannam pottery dish, 9.8cm diameter (6) Condition Report: Minton Encaustic - chips to edges and back. Blue tile - chips and crazing, large chip to one corner. Moyr tile - chips to the edges. Tubelined flower - chip to edge, crazing. Dish - glazing crazed. Brannam - chip to the edge.
