Description
A SET OF FAMILLE ROSE MODELS OF THE EIGHT IMMORTALS
Qianlong
The Eight Immortals representing He Xiangu, Cao Goujiu, Li Tieguai, Lan Caihe, Lü Dongbin, Han Xiangzi, Zhong Liquan and Zhang Guolao, each decorated in bright polychrome enamels with colourful robes, holding an attribute, raised on bases formed as foaming waves.
The tallest: 24cm (9 1/2in). (8).

Provenance: John Sparks Ltd., London, 15 October 1962 (invoice).
Condition
Scattered restorations to all of the immortals, including the hands of them, the faces of Lü Dongbin and Zhong Liquan, and the hat of Cao Guojiu; some chips and flakes to the extremities of the figures, with some most notable ones on the robes of Li Tieguai, approx. 1.2×0.8cm and 1×0.7cm; some scratches and expected surface wear.
