A rare and impressive example of this c. 1896 syrup dispenser from Coca-Cola, made by the Wheeling Pottery Company. Both the bowl and the base of this dispenser are marked "The Wheeling Pottery Company." This was the very first syrup dispenser that Coca-Cola released, and is highly sought-after and seldom seen. CONDITION: This dispenser remains in wonderful displaying condition. The bowl shows slight browning from absorbing syrup over the years. The base shows age appropriate wear to the gold embellishments. This dispenser comes with a age appropriate spigot that attaches to the base.
