Very good condition. Giovanni Maria Borri (Sommariva del Bosco, 29 June 1811 - Turin, 2 March 1876) was an Italian painter.
Artistic activity
He was mainly famous as a painter of still lifes, a genre in which he looked to the style of Flemish painters and achieved considerable skill, so much so that he is sometimes remembered as a "pot painter". He was a regular exhibitor at the Turin Fine Arts Promotion Society.
One of his works is kept in the Civic Museum of Cuneo.
