Meissen (German) Painted Porcelain Figurines, Card Player & Gentleman in Waiting, Ca. 19th C., H 6.5" W 3.75" Depth 3" 2 pcs | the young maiden in bustled dress playing cards measures H 6.5" X W 3.75" X D 3". the young man in waiting measures H 6.25" X W 3.25" X D 3.5". Each with incised numerical markings to the underside and cobalt Meissen mark under glaze. Circa 19th century. Provenance: Property inherited by descent, Harrisville, Michigan.
Condition
When viewed under UV light, no inpainting or conservation efforts were observed to either figure.
