North America, Native American, US Southwest, probably Navajo or Zuni, ca. late 20th century CE. Three sets of Native American silver and glass bead earrings. One with a bison head and dangling pin findings, rainbow beads, and feather charms. The other two have conical caps and threads of "liquid silver" beads; one set has woven section that includes turquoise beads. These tiny silver beads are often called "silver heishi" because heishi refers to the traditional tube or disc beads from the American Southwest or "liquid silver" because they are supple and velvety in texture when strung together. This pair can easily be paired with formal or casual wear! Size of bison earrings: 2.75" L x 0.75" W (7 cm x 1.9 cm); silver quality: 90.8% to 91.9%; total combined weight: 10.9 grams
