AN EDWARDIAN SILVER COMBINATION SOVEREIGN AND STAMP CASE
by Horace Woodward & Co Ltd, London 1903, of rounded rectangular form, the hinged cover engraved with a crest and motto NEMINEM METUE INNOCENS, the push-button thumbpiece opening the cover to reveal three spring-loaded compartments for stamps, half sovereigns and full sovereigns, the top with a pull-out propelling pencil and a hinged suspension loop. 10cm high (incl. suspension loop), 3.2 troy ounces
Generally in good condition with small dents to three of the corners, the hallmarks are clear and the hinged cover opens and closes well.
