Item Details
Description
Southern Plains copper bridle with minimal rocker engraving, with a replaced naja. Attached is an iron Mexican ring bit. Both copper and brass were used for early Indian pieces and are extremely rare. This is the only known copper bridle. Pictured: Bridles of the Americas Vol. 1 by Ned & Jody Martin and Robert Bauver, page 59, figure 3.35.
