makers mark obscured, possibly for Sen? & Detalla (active 1795-1805)
the Swiss 18K gold box of rectangular form, the cover with an enamelled scene of a putti, edged with billets of turquoise enamel reserved with opaque white enamel, the sides and edges the same, the interior with a pierced and engraved hinged grill of a twin handled urn with flowers reserved with foliate scrolls. Marked with French mark for gold for 16th August 1819 to 9th May 1838, and obscured makers mark to base section.
