Item Details
Description
An unbranded tambourine, painted purple, stage played by Prince at his June 4th,1987 performance at the Hanns-Martin-Schleyer Halle in Stuttgart, Germany during the Sign O’ The Times tour. Includes a Letter of Provenance from the consignor.
This tambourine was used by Prince during the show and thrown out into the audience after finishing a song. The consignor was seated in the first row left of the stage, and the couple seated next to him caught it, but as they already had a tambourine of their own, gave it to him instead.
The tambourine has no brand or model markings of any kind and is painted purple, with clear signs of use that imply it was not brand new at the time of the performance.
