Vintage Sterling Painted Necklace, Palestine, 1930's, 20". This is marked sterling and Made in Palestine. It was a brooch but the pin is missing but the bail is present. The clasp mechanism is there but not the pin. It has a painted scene on the front. It is on a 20" black laminated cord necklace. Silver tone extender chain and lobster clasp. It appears to be marked 1933 under Palestine but the letters and numbers overlap. Putting a pin back on this would be an easy fix that any jeweler could do but it can be worn as a necklace with no changes made. It is oxidized but that can be removed with cleaning. Good condition.
