A pair of Meissen sweet meat dishes, late 19th century, both modelled as a gallant supporting a floral encrusted oval basket, raised on a scroll moulded base, blue crossed swords mark, incised '2858', to the turquoise coat example, the lilac coat with '2863' both press numbered 42 31cm wide 20cm deep 19.5cm high (2) Condition Report: Turquoise coat example with nibbles and chips to the coat.
