Thomasz Rut "Aquatid" 1994 Oil on Canvas

Large oil on canvas painting of what appears to be a Merman and human woman in a passionate embrace. Rut's works are inspired by classical frescoes and he intentionally patina's them to achieve a similar look. Most of his works include dramatic use of the human form. The piece is signed both on the front and back, with the title and sate also written on the back. In good condition with no known damage.
