A Chinese archaistic bronze ritual vessel (Yu), dated from Shang Dynasty,the rounded sides rising to a waisted neck and a flared mouth rim, finely cast in low relief with a band of zoomorphic design in middel of body,with four flanges emphasizing dragon,supported on a tall foot

Condition: good condition with general surface wear and typical encrustation, a L shaped hairline crack descends from the edge downwards about 1 3/4" (4.4 cm), a small restored chip to the rim approx 1.5 cm,
