Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Chupicuaro, ca. 500 to 100 BCE. A set of 2 hand-built pottery vessels including a broad blackware tripod vessel with hollow legs containing petite rattle balls as well as a deep-walled grater bowl with grater striations incised along the bottom of the basin. Size of largest: 9.5" W x 3.5" H (24.1 cm x 8.9 cm)
