Description
A Maya Cylinder Vase Maya Regions, Mesoamerica, Late Classic, c. 600-900 AD Earthenware with polychrome pints in red-brown and black on orange. Depicts three standing warriors, painted black with red faces, wearing large headdresses with plumes at top, holding large spears with banners-- two segmented banners and one solid, each wearing a belt with apron front and back and a large plumed back piece. In good condition, reconstructed from approximately 11 pieces with restoration over the break lines.
