Vajda M. Pal (original name Weisz Mór, Vajda Manó from around 1900, Vajda M. Pál from 1920) (Budapest, February 15, 1874[2] – Budapest, April 23, 1945)[3] Hungarian photojournalist, photo artist. He was born as Mór Weisz, the son of Adolf Weisz, a flour merchant, and Mária Wilhelm. As an Israelite, from 1881 to 1884 he attended the folk school of the Augustinian Lutheran Hungarian-German congregation on Deák tér.[5] He later obtained a secondary education.[6] He changed his family name to Vajda in the early 1890s.
