Pre-Columbian, southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A pair of fascinating redware vessels: a squash-form jar with the figure of a monkey on top and a quadruped dish with thick flared walls featuring liberal remains of negative resist decoration. Size of larger (quadruped): 6.5" L x 6.2" W x 4.5" H (16.5 cm x 15.7 cm x 11.4 cm)
