640 清白玉獸面紋蓋瓶

白玉質，勻淨細潤，光澤靈秀。蓋與瓶身子母口相合，蓋面隆起，面飾變形獸面紋，紋樣古樸，頂設橢圓形捉鈕。瓶直口，溜肩，扁腹下收，底承橢圓形圈足。頸部二道弦紋組成寬帶，寬帶內雕相背龍紋，頸兩側有獸首銜環，獸眼大睜，濃眉挺鼻，樣貌奇特。肩兩側各有兩繫耳。腹兩面隨形開光，開光內分割多個區塊，雕琢變形獸面紋、如意紋、菱格紋等，獸眼炯炯有神，如意形鼻，粗眉翻捲，充盈神秘與裝飾趣味。整體造型及紋飾皆擬仿古韻，然又加入新意巧思，呈現清代仿古崇尚在琢玉工藝的卓越表現。

獸面紋，又稱饕餮紋，為中國傳統紋飾中的一種，盛行於史前、商代和西周初期，形態猙獰兇猛。戰國末年《呂氏春秋》提及：「周鼎著饕餮，有首無身。」據此，北宋時古器物圖錄將青銅器上凸出動物頭部的紋飾，稱之「饕餮」。藉以反映古代人們對自然神的崇拜，充盈超脫塵世的神秘氣氛和力量

「仿古」是藝術史中千古不朽的主題，自宋代金石學的產生，文人士大夫收藏古物之風漸行，提倡「復古」，考訂古器、證經補史、追復舊禮；至明清，慕古風尚渲染至各藝術領域，無論繪畫、瓷器、玉器等各類藝術皆提倡以古人為師，師古而求新變。本品造型以古代青銅器，漢〈獸環扁壺〉為藍本，然依玉材特性，加入新的元素與巧思，展現與古器物不同之樣貌，獸面紋飾繁複而誇張，裝飾性極強，更烘托宮廷中莊重威嚴之勢，盡顯皇家氣派。

Buyers who wish to bid on Premium Lots marked with ? in the catalogue must put down a deposit of TWD 2,000,000 (USD 65,000, HKD 500,000, or RMB 450,000.) If paying by check please allow at least three days for check to clear. Online bidding is not available for Premium Lots.
