Description
A George III silver teapot stand, the oval form with raised reeded rim enclosing stippled borders and centrally engraved monogram, on tapering feet. Hallmarked London 1801. Maximum length 17.5cm, weight 3.25ozt (101g).
Condition Report:
- Displaying some general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use.
- With some residues of dirt and dried polish.
- Showing many surface nicks and heavier scratches, especially to the centre.
- Some minor dints, and slight knocks around the rim.
- Wobbles a little on its feet.
- Hallmarks located to base; maker's marks distorted, other marks clear and legible.
