Two cased pairs of hat pins, the first with green and blue foil enamel oval finials, one hallmarked Charles Horner, Chester 1906, the other appears unmarked, approximate length 18.5cm; the second pair with hinged floral enamel circular terminals, hallmarks partly obscured, possibly Birmingham 1913, approximate length 17.5cm. • All displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches.
• Metal showing some fairly heavy tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
• On the first pair, there are some slight knocks and surface nicks around the metal edges of the oval finials.
• Floral enamel finials on the other pair with some losses; hallmarks located to the reverse of each and are partly obscured by residues of dirt or old polish.
• Cases to both with some general expected wear, damage and losses.
