Pre-Columbian, Ecuador, Valdivian culture, ca. 2000 to 1500 BCE; Ecuador, Jamacoaque culture, ca. 500 BCE to 500 CE; Ecuador, Guangala, ca. 100 to 500 CE; Southern Mexico to Guatemala, Maya, Late Classic Period, ca. 550 to 900 CE. A set of 5 pottery artifacts from across ancient Mesoamerica including a Maya poison bottle; a Maya standing bird figure; a Valdivian figural plaque; a petite Jamacoaque seated figure; and a standing Guangala pottery figural ocarina. Size of largest (Guangala figure): 1.55" L x 2.01" W x 3.93" H (3.9 cm x 5.1 cm x 10 cm)

Provenance: ex-private Valencia, California, USA collection, acquired 1974
