Pair Chinese 19th Century Gouache Paintings on Pith paper each of a seated Lady and her attendant, one with a Beautiful Lady on a Kang with servant offering a Bowl, the other with a High Lady with head scarf and sword on a folding chair with a kneeling attendant with sword and Dragon emblem; bordered in brocade and framed to the edges of the brocade. Height of frame 14 1/4 inches (36 cm.) X width 9 1/2 inches (24 cm.).

Appear with light age related wear, shrinkage, the Lady in folding chair with a few short cracks to pith at painted skirt, not examined out of frames.
