The book features 24 pages of text of an address and poem given by Verdet on 6th August 1950 at Vallauris upon the occasion of the presentation of Picasso's sculpture L'Homme au Mouton, and also includes 22 plates of photographs by Lionel Prejer. Signed ('Picasso') in dark fountain pen ink with his name alone to the half title page and also signed and inscribed by Andre Verdet, with his first name only, and one other unidentified individual. Some light age wear to the paper covers and spine, otherwise about VG. £800-1000
