T.L.S. "D. E." as President on White House letterhead, 1p. 4to., Washington, Oct. 13, 1959 to Robert Cutler, the first N.S.A. advisor. In part: "...I am not about to complain on being sixty-nine when I get a present of some of my favorite stuff, plus a genuine Robert Cutler poem! Many thanks. My hope is that the trip to Abilene did not wear you out...". Light soiling, else very good. Ike's birthday was the following day.
